Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System 비트코인 : 사용자간 전자화폐 시스템

Abstract.개괄. A purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash would allow onlinepayments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through afinancial institution. 진짜 p2p전자화폐라면 금융 기관을 거치지 않고 사용자간 온라인 지불이 가능할 것이다. Digital signatures provide part of the solution, but the mainbenefits are lost if a trusted third party is still required to prevent double-spending.We propose a solution to the double-spending problem using a peer-to-peer network. 전자인증(Digital signatures)은 어느정도 해결책이 될 수 있다. 그러나 중복지불을 막기 위해 제3의 신뢰할만한 인증 기관이 필요하다면 가장 큰 장머이 상쇄된다. 우리는 p2p network를 이용해 double-spending(중복지불?) 문제를 해결하려고 한다. The network timestamps transactions by hashing them into an ongoing chain of hash-based proof-of-work, forming a record that cannot be changed without redoing the proof-of-work. The longest chain not only serves as proof of the sequence ofevents witnessed, but proof that it came from the largest pool of CPU power.

Aslong as a majority of CPU power is controlled by nodes that are not cooperating toattack the network, they’ll generate the longest chain and outpace attackers. Thenetwork itself requires minimal structure.

Messages are broadcast on a best effort basis, and nodes can leave and rejoin the network at will, accepting the longestproof-of-work chain as proof of what happened while they were gone.
